Im mixed race, 1/2 black 1/2 white, thick black curly hair. I like the way some celebrities do this marilyn monroe look. Eve's black, shes done it, i'd like to do it 2, but has anyone got any advice for me?

i would nt reccommend it babe .... not with very dark hair ... you would have to do your roots every other week otherwise it will looks nasty .. also ... it may go very wirey textured .. and worse of all ...ORANGE !!

if it's your first time with blonde get it done profecionlly that way they with find the right shade for your skin

You would have to freequently do your roots which would be a pain. It might look weird if you dont have it done by a pro.

if you decide to go blond have it done professionally. i can look good on a person of mixed race especially if their eyes are hazel or blue good luck. remember it is something you can change back if you don't like it.

look I'm black and mixed as well don't go blonde i mean it may look funky or cool but try going brown or stay black plize i heard that blondes turn into Bitches later on dont go there

no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! when your hair grows out more you are going to have black roots and blonde hair it will look stupid and dying your hair can damage it

Yeah you should try it, but try streaks to get an idea of how it might look.

Yes, of course you should try it. If you don't like it you can always go back. However, if you do end up liking the way it looks, you may get stuck having to continuously do your roots, touch up's etc. to keep it looking nice. Which of course can be expensive over time..

Go for it. You only live once so you might as well enjoy yourself and try everything. If it doesn't work out the nice thing about hair is that it grows out. I've been blond. I've been brunette. I started out as a redhead. I've been black, auburn, blue (OK, that was an accident). Remember, you aren't married to any hair color. If it's not what you wanted you let it grow out. If it's a complete disaster you go to a professional to have it turned into something you can live with. Oh, one word to the wise; don't do this on a day that your local salons are all closed (like I did when I accidentally went blue). You want to be able to get an "emergency rescue" if need be. And don't worry, they have seen it all.

Hi, go for it but make sure you look after your hair afterwords makes bleach makes your hair very brittel and week. Also get a good hairdresser to do it.

personally, I don't like it when black people go blonde. Black people have such beautiful hair, skin, eyes, and lips. I think going blonde will ruin it. That's just my opinion. Good luck

all of your celebrities have professionals do their hair...and almost all of them have hair extent ions.......it would cost alot to have their hair........so if you do decide to do something like tha go to a very good salon....and let no money be an opition ....get the best ..good luck

I think you should take a real second to think about that really. Do you know what they say about blondes? That would mess your pretty black curls if you wanted to dye it a good color would be a brownish red.

don't do it you sound like you have really beautiful hair anyway, it would reaally ruin the look. As a guide you should never colour your hair more than 2 shades lighter or darker than it already is, or it won't look right.
